Voltaren is an oral gel. It is applied directly to the skin 2 to 3 times a day. You should apply the gel to any area where movement and fullness are expected. Do not apply it on your face, eyelids, lips, eyes, mouth, or other areas of the body. If you are concerned about your eyes, tell your healthcare provider before using Voltaren Hydrogel. Avoid applying the gel on mucous membranes, eyes, mouth, or nose. This product may cause irritation.
Voltaren should be applied 2 or 3 times a day. The amount of application depends on the size and the type of movement and pain. It is recommended to apply the gel 3 or 4 times a day to see the best results. Wash your hands before and after applying the gel. - Children weighing below 25 kg (ptroller's threshold for administering medications is less than 2 years) should use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms. For the treatment of arthritis pain and/or inflammation, the lowest effective dose is prescribed.
